Pasture management in vicinity of the capital city Ulaanbaatar to be improved. A related working group was formed to enhance management of pastures around the city and improve agricultural progress in the area. The program set objectives to form a favorable environment where livestock husbandry is feasible around Ulaanbaatar and revise pasture management with help of herders and farmers.

Advanced technologies will be introduced to hay production industry, committees of crop farmers and herders will be formed for more consistent cooperation, and vocational centers for agricultural professions will be opened as part of the plan. As Mongolia is a nomadic country improvement of the pasture management around the capital city is essential to effectively keep the livestock industry.
